NCIDQ's Exam Admission Process Goes DigitalSeptember 2, 2008 WASHINGTON, DC - In its commitment to increased efficiency and sustainability, the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (NCIDQ) has upgraded its exam admission process. Beginning with the fall 2008 administration, all NCIDQ Examination admission letters will be available online only. Candidates registered to take the NCIDQ exam will no longer receive their letters of admission via postal mail. All candidates must retrieve and print their own admission letters. NCIDQ, in partnership with its examination partner, ACT, Inc., has created a secure online system for retrieving electronic letters of admission. Candidates will receive an e-mail from ACT prior to the exam with instructions on how to retrieve their official letter of admission. The letter of admission contains important information regarding each candidate's testing location and test-day instructions. It is required for admittance to the exam. Candidates will have the ability to access their electronic letter and print this for admittance to the exam. For questions regarding the electronic admission letter, contact NCIDQ at (202) 721-0220. NCIDQ® is an organization of regulatory boards and provincial associations in the United States and Canada whose core purpose is to protect the health, life safety and welfare of the public by establishing standards of competence in the practice of interior design.
