"Healthcare Americana!" Reception - Presented by NCIDQ & AAHID As part of the Healthcare Design Conference to be held this November near Washington, DC, NCIDQ and the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) will present a journey through American history and interior design.
On Saturday, November 8, 2008, from 7-10 p.m., NCIDQ and AAHID will host "Healthcare Americana!" at the historic Gadsby's Tavern in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.
Gadsby's was
the favorite local eating establishment for George
Washington and served as his headquarters during the Revolutionary War. The Tavern has been
meticulously maintained and restored to preserve its 18th century
appearance, furnishings and artwork.
Join us for this historic event! You don't have to attend the Healthcare Design Conference to attend this reception. We invite all of our Washington-area Certificate holders to join us at this reception. More information and tickets are
now available at the AAHID Web site: www.aahid.org. | |
NCIDQ Exam News
Exam letters of admission now available online In its commitment to increased efficiency and sustainability, NCIDQ has upgraded its exam admission process.
Beginning with the fall 2008 administration, all NCIDQ Examination admission letters will be available online only. Candidates
registered to take the NCIDQ Exam will no longer receive their letters of
admission via postal mail. All candidates must retrieve and print their own admission letters.
NCIDQ, in
partnership with its examination partner, ACT, Inc., has created a
secure
online system for retrieving electronic letters of admission.
Candidates will receive an e-mail from ACT prior to the exam with
instructions on how to retrieve their official letter of admission.
The
letter of admission contains important
information regarding each candidate's testing location and test-day
instructions. It is required for admittance to the exam. Candidates
will have the ability to access their electronic letter and print this
for
admittance to the exam.
For more information regarding the NCIDQ Examination and processes, visit www.ncidq.org.
