NCIDQ Releases Spring 2008 Exam Results

WASHINGTON, DC—The National Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (NCIDQ) has released its spring 2008 Examination results. A record number of candidates took and passed all three sections of the NCIDQ Examination in April.

Nearly 1,500 people took the exam this past spring, an increase from the fall 2007 exam. More than 640 individuals earned their NCIDQ Certificate this spring, an increase of nearly 100 individuals compared to those who earned their Certificate last fall.

The pass rates for the three sections are as follows:

  • Section I (Principles and Practices of Interior Design): 75%
  • Section II (Contract Documents and Administration): 69%
  • Section III (Schematics and Design Development): 80%

The next NCIDQ Exam will be offered October 3-4, 2008 in 54 locations across the United States and Canada. For information on upcoming application and registration deadlines, see the Exam Dates & Deadlines Schedule at www.ncidq.org.
