2008 Practice Analysis Research Report

This report summarizes the results of a practice analysis study conducted for NCIDQ by ACT, NCIDQ’s testing consultant. The study was designed to collect data on the tasks, knowledge and skills of interior designers in the United States and Canada. The purpose of the study was to analyze the requirements of the interior design profession and to use the resulting information to develop a test content outline for the NCIDQ Examination.

NCIDQ conducts this study every five years to ensure that the NCIDQ accurately reflects the practice of interior design.
